Indie Games from the UK, carefully bodged.

Decent Enough Games

Decent Enough Games retro badge with joystick, cassettes, stars and sunset stripes.

Small games with a late-eighties to mid-nineties pulse, a present-day style, and a name that keeps it all nicely grounded. Seems decent enough to us.

About the outfit

What is Decent Enough Games?

Decent Enough Games is an indie game development team from the UK. Inspired by the golden era of joystick waggling and tongue-in-cheek British entrepreneurial spirit that led to many iconic game franchises, while also nodding to the modern spirit of equality and respect, our goal is to make games that are, well... decent enough.

Snot Pop!

Snot Pop! is an early 90s arcade-style vertical pixel platformer with 50 procedurally generated levels. Easy to pick up yet difficult to master. It's simple: move, jump, trap, pop, collect, survive. Keep pace, chain clears, cut seconds off your runs to beat the clock, and smash that high score.

Built for quick runs, messy wins, and arcade-style play.

Snot Pop! is made for short sessions that turn into longer ones. Clear a few levels, chase a better time, unlock another achievement, and try again because you know you can do it faster, cleaner, and with a higher score.

In Development. Coming soon to Steam.

Aesirbard

Aesirbard is a 2D action game; a Norse-inspired Metroidvania in which you discover, understand and alter the magical connections underpinning the world. An original hi-bit pixel-art adventure across five regions of a mythical world.

Manipulate the mystical connections that shape the world.

Once a mouthy tavern patron with a talent for getting into brawls, one fight too many cost him his life. At the gates of Hel, Eir, goddess of healing, offered him a second chance: return as the Aesirbard, agent of the Aesir. His first task is the village of Kerrivik, where Eir's ward kept the monsters of Hel out. Now it keeps the villagers in, and it didn't twist on its own.

Yes, we embrace A.I.

Retro-minded, future tech.

Decent Enough Games makes independent games and related stories with British humour, misadventures, character-led fiction, and a retro-minded style, while accepting the modern world and future technologies.

Yes, we know it's a bit of a contradiction. But we like it that way.
